Beef stew
When i make this, I had red cabbage and red potatoes and onions and carrots. I added them together. As leftover it was purple! But still a good hot meal.

Guiness Sausage casserole with boiled vegetables
Winter in Nova Scotia is still upon us so a chance to make a warm stew for supper. Red potatoes with red cabbage and carrots paired with a Guiness Sausage casserole. A nice thick gravy woth mushrooms, onion and red peppers. Red seems to be the main colour. Good hearty food.
Pot roast
Another Redden family dish i always enjoyed in the winter. This one made with a carton of Beef broth. Nice little roast boiled for 3 hours with potatoes, onion, carrots, turnip.
